ForeWord Trade Review Journal launch
ForeWord magazine was conceived and created in 1997 as a new trade review journal. ForeWord magazine covers the rapidly growing independent, alternative, university, and self publishing industries. I created the identity for the new magazine and ancillary materials for the new business. In addition to creating the magazine’s identity, I illustrated and shot photography for a number of the journal covers. (Pictured here)
Fifteen years later, as other review journals fold or contract due to shrinking ad sales, ForeWord is experiencing double-digit growth and recently added newsstand distribution to broaden their reach beyond the trade to consumers.
